ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE
ATSA is new established LNGO that consists of small team of high trained profession staff who have previously supported the National IPM Program at the central level to implement national level programs in partnership with Danida , FAO , CIDA and the world Bank. In the last six months ATSA has delivered a package of training for 9 communes and one district funded by the commune and district development fund on Natural Resources Management and Livelihoods . In total there have been farmer trained on agriculture production such as rice, fish, home gardens, chicken and pig rearing using the Farmer Field School (FFS) approaches (participatory and discovery learning). Furthermore, ATSA also has been working on farmland biodiversity conservation and pesticide reduction with school children and farmer in Kampong Chhnang province. 3 primary schools with 6 teachers and 120 school children plus 3 communities around the school were directly involved in the project .
The current target province of ATSA are Kampong Cham; Kampong Speu; Pursat and Kampong Chhnang.
Currently, ATSA has 15 full time staff members
including management staff and technical staff. Ten (4) of them are
women. Beside this full staff ATSA has 40 district trainers and 120
farmer trainers who are contractual basic.

ONGOING PROJECTS
Rural Ecological Agriculture for Livelihoods (REAL) project supported by SIDA through the Field Alliance office in Bangkok, Thailand to implement a project in the Kampong Chhnang province. This is a 3 year project which is currently implementing Phase One of a regional project led by KEMI and FAO: Toward a Non-Toxic Environment in South-East Asia.
Aquatic Biodiversity and Farmland Enhancement project will be based in the Baray and Suntouk districts of the Kampong Thom province. supported by UNDP GEF SGP. More
